#GOINGHOME

The #GOINGHOME bracelet is about revival in our hearts and the hearts of others.

OUR REVIVAL

It is our 7 by 24 visual reminder that we need revival from God in order to love all people each day. Whether it is our first waking conversation or text, a meeting or a conference call, in class, parenting, caretaking, exercising, shopping, on the first tee or at our favorite restaurant, a glance at the bracelet keeps us in the moment, focused on whom we are with right now. How others listen to us, react to us, are open or closed to us is reflective of our expression of concern and love toward them. We need God’s continued revival of our hearts if we hope for revival in others.

This is where things can get exciting, infectious even to borrow a COVID phrase. If you are around someone with COVID, you are likely going to be infected. If someone is near a bracelet bearer should they not be infected by the love of God as well? As believers are revived to love others better, unbelievers will be more open to what we have to say. Spiritual revival and infection of all people is our common goal...let’s be contagious.

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13:13

REVIVAL FOR OTHERS

The bracelet is intended to be a relational, live, Gospel conversation starter. A chance for you to tell your story of what the Gospel means to you. As Christians, we all know the earth is not our home, and that every day we are a little bit closer to being HOME in heaven with God and all of His people. Yet this is a foreign concept for people outside of the Kingdom of God. Still the notion of home itself holds a warm spot in everyone’s heart. Home is the basis for our conversation.

We are planting the notion that as good and wonderful as our earthly homes can be, there is a heavenly HOME that is so much better. Who wouldn’t want to know about that? Anyone will admit that as good as our earthly homes are they are far from perfect. No home escapes pain, suffering and eventually death. And that is why our HOME is so much better.

Our HOME is a perfect place where nothing bad happens, it’s all good.

Revelation 21:3–4

3 Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,

4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain;...”

A.W. Tozer(10,000 Years and Beyond)

“One day, we’ll be able to abide with the everlasting God forever in a new quality of existence that knows no frustration or boredom. Imagine the things you could accomplish with 10,000 years in a resurrected body that doesn’t fatigue and requires no food or sleep!”

Jesus made us a promise that we belong there, and His HOME is our HOME

John 14:2

“In My  Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.

And there will be a lot of people there from since the beginning of life on earth

Revelation 7:9

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne

Hope for a new HOME

This is your chance to personalize how you came to understand the Gospel, and what you believe about your eternal HOME. Here are a few thoughts for you, yet your version will always be the best:

When I became a Christian in (year) it was then I came to realize there was more to life than this world, and that this world as I knew it, was simply a warm up act so to speak to my real HOME in heaven. My HOME is heaven, and one day I will be there. I’m sure of it. My departure time for there is when my physical body here dies. It is at that point I will leave this earth and go to my heavenly HOME.

I am certain about this, and it gives me a sense of peace every day. I know this is true, because I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me, and bought me a first-class ticket to get into heaven and live there. If I died today, I am sure that I would go HOME, to heaven. That is comforting to me. Although in many ways I don’t want to leave this life, I have a complete peace about facing death because I know I am GOINGHOME, and it is a much better place.

Is that true for you as well?

Do you have that same sense of peace that if you died today, you are sure your going to heaven?

Did you know you can be 100% sure of this?

My personal affirmation

(John 14:6) “ I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

I have accepted this truth, and I know because of Jesus I am always one day closer to #GOINGHOME.  I want as many people as possible to be there with me as well. So I will ask God to revive me into such a loving person that others would want to go with me.

Believe in Prayer of all Believers

Ephesians 6:19

Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,

Ephesians 3:14–19

14For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,15from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name,16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be  strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man,17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,18may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,19and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
