The Gift at the Manger

As the lights glow a little brighter and the carols fill the air, we are reminded of one simple truth. Christmas is not only about decorated trees and wrapped presents. It is about the gift God has placed before you.

At the heart of the nativity scene lies the greatest gift ever given. It is not only a baby in a manger. It is the promise of life renewed. The prophet Ezekiel described it long ago:
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you.” (Ezekiel 36:26)

When the angel announced good news to Mary and to the shepherds, it was not just a beautiful moment. It was an invitation for every person. Because Scripture reminds us:
“All things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23)
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37)
